E-Safety
E-Safety is a term which means not only the internet but other ways in which young people communicate using electronic media, e.g. mobile phones. It means ensuring that children and young people are protected from harm and supported to achieve the maximum benefit from new and developing technologies without risk to themselves or others. For further information, see our E-Safety Policy on the school website.
We encourage the children to use SID's Top Tips
- People you don't know are strangers. They are not always who they say they are.
- Ne nice to people on the computer like you would in the playground
- Keep your personal information private
- If you ever get that "uh oh" feeling, you should tell a grown up you trust.
