Reception Christingle visit
Our Reception children had a lovely walk to St Michael’s Church and met Reverend Julie who talked about the significance of Advent and the Christingle to Christian families. We all had the opportunity to make a Christingle and to light it which signifies the birth of Christ. We sang one of our nativity play songs whilst the candles were lit.

Year 1 and 2 had a lovely walk to the Church and met Reverend Julie who talked to us about the significance of Christingle to Christian families. We all had the opportunity to make a Christingle and to light it which signifies the birth of Christ. We sang one of our nativity play songs whilst the candles were lit which was wonderful using the acoustics of the St. Michael’s church.
